Alejandro Mosquera, known professionally as Intalekz, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to Sydney, Australia, with his family in 1987 when he was just one year old. In 1996, his family relocated to New York, where he was introduced to hip-hop music and culture, drawing inspiration from iconic artists such as The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, and Cypress Hill. This exposure profoundly influenced Intalekz's musical style and direction. 

The family returned to Sydney in 2000, where Alejandro attended high school in Narellan Vale. He began honing his freestyle skills, but he dropped out in the 10th grade in 2002 to pursue his passion for music.

• First Mixtape Release:
  In September 2007, Intalekz released his first mixtape, "Food For Thought", which debuted on MySpace and iTunes. This mixtape featured notable collaborations, including a track with Royce Da 5'9" from Detroit and another with Mickey Factz, exclusively released on MySpace. Intalekz spent three months in New Jersey recording parts of this album.
